Tattoo Laser Removal
Get rid of your tattoo, no matter your skin type or ethnicity.
SUMMARY
Pico/Q-switch lasers are the only lasers on the market that can effectively and safely remove unwanted tattoos on any part of your body. These lasers send a light pulse into the skin that is selectively absorbed by pigment, enabling it to break apart pigment only without harming any cells. Tattoo pigment is broken up into small particles and removed by the body’s immune system. It is safe and effective on all skin types and ethnicities.

The pico laser for tattoo removal sends a laser light pulse to the skin that is selectively absorbed by pigment enabling it to break apart pigments only without harming any cells. The laser produces short nano-pico seconds pulses of intense light that pass harmlessly through the top layers of the skin to be selectively absorbed by the pigment of the tattoo. Once absorbed the laser light transforms into photoacoustic waves that mechanically break up the melanin pigment into smaller particles. The body can then naturally remove these small particles with the immune system. This is a safe treatment for all skin types. This laser treatment can effectively treat professional, amateur, and cosmetic tattoos.
Even after one session, you will see some fading in the tattoo. Each tattoo responds differently to treatment depending on the colors and depth of pigment. You will need several sessions to remove your tattoo.

The Q-switch/pico laser is passed over the tattoo multiple times. You will experience minimal discomfort that is generally well tolerated by patients because we apply an anaesthetic cream to the treatment area before the procedure.
After the treatment your skin will be red and swollen, however there is generally no downtime associated with the treatment. Avoiding sun exposure and applying sunscreen will be necessary to protect the sensitive skin in the treatment area for a period of time after the procedure.
Anyone with a tattoo – standard or cosmetic – that they would like removed can benefit from a series of pico laser treatments. This procedure can also remove certain parts of the tattoo to improve its appearance.
The pico laser is safe for the face and body. It can even remove cosmetic eyeliner tattoos.
There is no risk of hyper or hypo pigmentation, which is a common risk with lasers on non-caucasian skin. The pico/Q-switch laser is very safe.
Once the pigment is destroyed and flushed out by the immune system, it is gone for good. There is no maintenance procedures needed but you may need multiple sessions to remove your tattoo.
