How does the Morpheus8 treatment work?

The treatment uses two simultaneous mechanisms: fine microneedles create controlled micro-injuries to activate the skin's natural repair process, while radiofrequency (RF) energy is delivered into the deep layers to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.

What types of patients are good candidates for this treatment?

Ideal candidates are individuals with skin laxity along the lower face or neck, mild to moderate wrinkles, uneven skin texture, acne or post-traumatic scars, and who are seeking visible improvement without surgery or prolonged downtime.

Is a prior medical evaluation necessary?

Yes, a medical evaluation is required prior to treatment to confirm the skin indication and develop an individualized plan adapted to the skin type.

How is the procedure adapted according to the patients?

Treatment parameters — such as needle depth and radiofrequency intensity — are adjusted to account for each patient's skin thickness and specific goals.

What happens during the procedure and what is the level of discomfort?

Before the session, a topical anesthetic is applied to minimize discomfort. Then, the device is applied to the targeted areas. Each session typically lasts between 30 and 60 minutes.

What can be expected after the session in terms of follow-up care and recovery?

After the treatment, slight redness, swelling, tenderness, and temporary needle marks may be present and generally resolve within a few days. Most people return to work within 1 to 4 days depending on the intensity. Sun protection is essential during healing.

What results can be expected and at what pace?

A gradual tightening of the skin along the lower face and neck, a progressive reduction in wrinkles and laxity, as well as an improvement in overall texture and density are generally observed. Results continue to improve for several weeks to months. A protocol of up to 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart is generally recommended.
